  2. 1. Clicking directly on the link not working. Copy & paste the urls.

    2. Forgive my ignorance. but why does each millets cost more except kambu. I thought producing rice is costlier one, heard that small millets will not need much water or fertilizers. then why it costs more ? costlier than wheat and rice which is Rs.40-50 range while these millets cost more ? any possibility this comes down in the coming days ?!

ps: mass production will reduce the cost, would like to know any other reason or steps taken to reduce it.

    1. 1. Clicking the link works Ji.
      2. Thats because what we buy (wheat & rice) are heavily subsidised to us. Actuaklly Farmers are not subsidised by govt but farmers are subsidising our food costs & Govt is forcing farmers to do that. If ur a rice farmer then u will know Rice cant be sold less than Rs.150 if you include farmers income & cost of natural resources.
Its a long & lengthy subject which cant be discussed in a day.
So its very relative that we are talking 'costly'.

    2. @ganesh when we can buy a pizza for 200, 300 or even 500 Rs, thats not even worth 50 Rs do we ask this much question ? there is so much of political, economical and social reason for the pricing of millets. As you correctly said, mass production would bring it down, so lets start using millets and demand would go up leading to more production and decrease in cost.

    3. Don't compare with Pizza price. Here, the farmer is getting only 20 rupees per kilo for his minor millet produce. Only the middle men enjoys the profit.

  4. For "MILLET Sunday" on January 26, 2014 across 55 locations, is there any timing? I live near Tambaram Sanatorium station and I think, for me the location near Selaiyur Police station is the nearest. But the address given by you does not give the road name. Can you give me the complete address and the phone number of Mr. Aswath so that I can find out the best way to reach the place?

Do you also sell organic vegetables? If so, how can I get them?
